News and Upcoming Concerts
The Chester Songbirds raised the roof during the Christmas Meal organised by the Chester Round Table for Chester’s Elderly People in Need, held on 3rd December 2011. Within minutes the Songbirds had everybody singing along to the Christmas Classics and many enthusiastic comments were made by members of the audience after the concert!!
To our delight the Chester Round Table offered us a cheque for £300, which we are proudly donating to the NSPCC.

The Chester Songbirds performed at Chester’s brand new John Lewis shop in the Greyhound Retail Park (CH1 4QG) on 11th December. Customers made themselves comfortable in the coffeeshop on the first floor, turning their chairs to listen to us. We received many enthusiastic compliments and two requests to join the Songbirds! We raised £100 which we are donating to the Autistic Society. Photographs to follow!
